"Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
--Hebrews 13:5
"And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed."
--Deuteronomy 31:8
I have been looking at God's word through a book by Randy Alcorn, "The Grace and Truth Paradox" it is a short little book that has helped me to see things in a greater light. God's grace is so amazing to me and I cannot even begin to tell you how much I have needed it lately. As much as I have needed Grace, I have needed Truth that much more. Not only truth about the difficult times I have been experiencing, but the Truth about myself and what God has to say about it. Unfortunately, some of the things that I discovered about me did not bring a smile to my face, but shame and burden to my heart. The upside to this is that I was able to bring that all to God, ask forgiveness, and hear Him say....
Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yolk is easy and My burden is light." --Matthew 11:29-30
I hope that if you are having a hard time this week that you will MAKE the time to take it before the Lord and have Him handle it for you. He never meant for you to go it alone, He wants to handle it all for you! He loves you!
May the Lord bless you beyond measure this week!
Hanna
